Re: Avengers Assemble (bound to be spoilers a plenty)
I just had a work experience that reminded me of what is perhaps my favorite line in the movie---only because it gets to the heart of me:
Banner: That's my secret. I'm always angry.

I'd have to agree on all three points (although I think my #2 and #1 are flipped...) It was a tough call and could easily have gone the other way. I tried to measure on the basis of how long I was laughing out loud like an imbecile. Measurement is somewhat imprecise under those circumstances.

Re: Avengers Assemble (bound to be spoilers a plenty)
It grossed more money on Sunday than "Dark Shadows" grossed in it's entire opening weekend. I guess Gary Oldman was too busy prepping for "The Dark Knight Rises" to put in a good performance in "Dark Shadows", right LF ?

He just put on the old Depp-suit and rolled out another dose of Mad-Wonk-Toddism. Yawn!

Was anyone struck by the resemblance between Mobius and Hawkeye?

As an unashamed Hawkeye and Black Widow fanboy, I thought the same thing about a prequel. As for good comics try Hawkeye: Blindspot it shows his personality quite well and includes flashbacks of his origin story.

Saw it yesterday. Just gonna heap on another shovel full of praise.
I was afraid Joss was gonna ruin this, but he did a spectacular job.

I was afraid Joss was gonna ruin this, but he did a spectacular job. Huh. That's the first piece of praise I've heard for this movie that actually means something to me. I don't suppose I could prevail on you to elaborate further?

I was afraid Joss was gonna ruin this, but he did a spectacular job. He didn't have a love interest to kill off. That helped.
