 FTC New Game Evangelism
What'd you play at Fear the Con 5 (or previous ones) that you feel more people should know about and play?

I didn't play Fiasco but I bought it as soon as I got home! And I second more Battletech!

I've introduced some of my local group to Lucid which they like alright enough but I can't seem to convince anyone to pick up dread. To answer the OP, Dogs in the Vineyard, Fiasco, Savage Worlds. I know those are all big indie games, but I don't know anyone outside of FTB that has heard of the first two and the only people who know SW know it because of me.

 Re: FTC New Game Evangelism
I already knew Apocalypse World was a badass game, and the Rise of the Alphas adventure I played in confirmed that, even if the game didn't go quite the way the MC wanted.
A lot of folks had fun with the Marvel Heroic RPG this weekend and while the narrative focus of the game might not work for simulation fans, it's a fine game.
I really dug playing Freemarket, and it's definitely a game I'll be trying to pick up. It was described as the Anti-Paranoia and I found it really refreshing to play a game where cooperation and generosity were the equivalent of 'killing things and taking their stuff'.

I finally ran Anima Prime. (Not to be confused with Anima: Beyond Fantasy by FFG.) True to its word, the game operated on minimal prep and emulated over-the-top anime. I spent slot 5 writing characters with hooks that pointed them directly at one another, dreamed up the barest outline of a plot, and played in slot 6. I, and all the players involved, had a blast. A demon-armed defector from the empire, a rebel leader bearing the legendary greatsword Kingrender, and a kid summoning-prodigy banded together and took on demontech shock troops, melodramatic enemy commanders, and a five-cannoned spider tank in a shared narrative that shook the heavens. If you want more about the game system itself, you can unearth my original thread about it. Or PM me. Whichever.

We would have missed out on Church running traveler then though and that was a ton of fun. I would have never known the joys of creating a Militant Vegetarian Camel Centaur Pirate with Zero G training and knowledge of the law. Well actually he failed to be a Pirate the first time, but then got a benifactor that helped him live out his life long dream of being a Pirate.

 Re: FTC New Game Evangelism
Fiasco was an absolute blast and was the hit of the Con for me. I came home, opened up Skype and G+, and informed my friends I would be driving to their houses, unplugging their Internet, and running Fiasco for them. It just works as a one-shot game, without losing any replayability even if you did the same playset a couple of times in a row.
QAGS (Quick-Ass Game System) is so incredibly easy to use and create characters for that it's already in my mental back pocket as a fallback for games I want to run without any real concern for complex mechanics. It's delightful and innately flexible, especially given how much fun Kali and I had in our various QAGS games.
I didn't actually play Dresden Files but I got to go through character creation. I love the FATE system in principle, and the DFRPG version of FATE seems to have worked out a lot of the kinks that were in Spirit of the Century. I'm going to have to get a game of this going soon, too.
I'm glad I played Paranoia with martian_bob, but I know some friends who would run the game better than I would. They're far more viciously crazy than I could ever be.
While I didn't play it at FTC5, I picked up a copy of InSpectres and really want to play that soon! I also grabbed a copy of Don't Rest Your Head, which my group (all Neil Gaiman fans) should really enjoy. I might actually start GMing these games after the Con, and that's worth it in and of itself!

Epoch of Rysos. A Sci-fi setting that has to be one of the most fleshed out and lore rich worlds I have ever encountered.
