Post Akibaranger
A delivery boy, a failing martial artist, and a mascot girl harness the power of vivid hallucination as they train to become Power Rangers who will protect the otaku district of Akihabara from the plots of Evil Guerrilla Marketing Firm-B and its sinister Sub-Section Chiefs in a Super Sentai spin-off targeted at genre-savvy adults.

If I can't sell you that, I've got nothing for you.

(Scroll down a bit for the embedded video.)

Good fun. Interested to see how long they can keep it up being so heavily invested in the genre tropes, also to see how long before an Aoi-tan anime is actually released.

What was that about 26th Power Rangers?

They stopped after Season 6. There were none after Power Rangers in Space. That was the one that culminated with the destruction of all evil the entire universe.

Heh. In Japan, they're on their 36th season of the Super Sentai series. It's spy-themed, but I've had trouble getting into the fansubs of it. The 35th team is pirate themed and highly entertaining. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger if you want to give it a look.

Also, there are 17 different Power Ranger series, and the 'original' went for 3 seasons.

I posted this in the funny video thread a little while ago but I think it goes here pretty well.

Also the second ep of Akibaranger is out I don't have a stream link but it is subbed by the group Tvnihon if you want to google them. I personally prefer to download from them for the better quality. Plus I watch Kamen Rider more them Super Sentai and Tvnihon does both.
