Post It happened yesterday.
I was at work. We once again have a radio to listen to while packing orders. The station puts on Heart Shaped Box, by Nirvana.

I say, out loud, "Why is a classic rock station playing Nirvana? That song came out when I was a freshman in high school."

My (younger) coworker asks me what year that was.

I suddenly realize that it was Twenty years ago.

Now I feel old.

There was a game some of my friends played on facebook where you find out what song was #1 when you were born.

Mine was "Baby Love" by the Supremes.

@Doctwisted:
That song that was #1 when you were born was probably something I hated in high school.

I sometimes wonder whether Cobain would be more like Thom Yorke, David Bowie, or Leonard Cohen if he were alive today.

"Lovesick Blues" by Frank Ifield.

I feel you Doc, Blink 182 came on the radio the other day at work and a younger kid said, "Who's this? They sound kinda like My Chemical Romance"

I responded, "Blink 182, "All the Small Things"."

"Man, they sound like a lot of other bands that came out last year. I wonder if they ever covered for Arcade Fire."

*sigh*

Wait, Blink 182 is old? I'm 19, and they still seem recentish.

I think they just had a new album debut, so maybe that's why. It's been almost 7 years since their last album.

Number one according to Billboard when I was born is:

Kiss You All Over, by Exile. Not as horrible as I was expecting for that year in music.
