 Greetings and salutations!
My name is Dinner, and I usually listen to a years worth of podcasts in the summer while mowing lawns. I am not a gamer. What? Yes really. Rpg books fascinate me to no end, I usually have at least a dozen or so at any given time. Right now I have a very small collection, just Strands of Fate, Barabarians of Lemuria and Savage Worlds deluxe. I love reading them and disecting the systems included, I have tried gaming, but I just could not get into it.
I do enjoy war gaming, but only get to partake a few times a year. I mainly game on my 360 and PS vita. I am looking forward to the Dungeon Command game from WOTC. I also thoroughly enjoy TN Volunteer football, Golf, and other guy past times.
I have visited here before, but will probably be around more frequently now that I have discovered tapatalk.

 Re: Greetings and salutations!
Good to meet and and welcome to the forums. you strike me as a person who loves to deconstruct and better understand systems. A person who has a great time breaking apart something to it's base components and seeing why it really works.
Wargames are a great puzzle. Find where the matchups are and use them to great effect. Get the right pieces in the right place at the right time. RPGs are a different creature entirely. More so than what system is listed in a book, the real nuts and bolts are in the social experience that happens at the table. While it isn't nearly as cut an dry as typical deconstruction, the speed and chaos of it makes for a great challenge. The feeling of taking years of picking apart mechanical systems and finally being able to successfully apply that to people is an outstanding feeling of accomplishment with few peers.
I hope to see you on the forums. If you ever want to talk shop about game systems or war gaming I'm only a PM away.
