Re: What boardgames are you playing?
Played Cthulu Gloom last weekend and had a blast--it's a lot of fun to actually tell the stories about what's happening to the characters, rather than just slapping down the cards, and it's pretty easy to do, too. I won, by virtue of driving my entire family completely and utterly insane.

Risk: Legacy was such a blast. We got four games done before we realized that we were playing with one too many stars to start with. But at least each player got to use the expoit.

- Sam It has cards with stickers on them as well as a sticker sheet for the beginning of the first game and the end of the first 15 games. All stickers are permanent once placed, they include attack/defense roll buffs/debuffs and stickers to cancel them, cities and stickers to fortify them, faction specific powers, territory resources, and continental bonus modifiers. Plus the winners of the first 15 games get to sign the board and have the option to name a continent which gives them a bonus. Also if certain conditions are met, new compartments are opened in the box which add more goodies to the game. It's a lot of fun

Risk Legacy terrifies me.
Because I know if I play it with my friends the board will have 6 variations of 'Penisland' written on it by that 15th game.

As long as they know they get a bonus for owning it, I don't think you'll have that problem. But then again I don't know your friends.

I've been playing Castle Panic! and it very well designed.
