What is this concept of "enough" in reference to dice? The Werefrog don't understand.

I was playing a Sorcerer specialized in summoning spells. I kept summoning groups monsters to whittle away the enemy and keep them locked down and busy. I kept rolling max on my summoning rolls, so at one point, I had, like, sixteen monsters on the field, most with multiple attacks per round. Resolving all their attacks (plus my animal companion's attacks) required more dice than we had at the table.

In related news, next week's addition is sure to be, "I am no longer allowed to solve every problem with a one-hundred-foot-tall flying dinosaur."

I'm no longer allowed to subvert the GM's story by convincing the enemies to worship me.

One of the other players in my DnD party is no longer allowed to have a eidolon (I'm probably spelling that wrong) that has +25 to stealth, which results in the DM just throwing the map down and saying "Ok, here's what he scouts ahead and sees."

Suggestion: No matter the skill, role play it out. Because scouts can't be everywhere and they can't travel through time. They might get a lot of the available information, but only in a sphere defined by their senses.

What if they can be everywhere and travel through time. This is relevant to an upcoming game I'm in.

Well then, there is such as thing as too much information. Start saying things like, while digging though the latrine pit your scout has discovered that Wednesdays is chili night.
