All right, I'm looking to try and GM a Mass Effect game using Savage Worlds. I really want to role-play again; I haven't extensively for years.

I'm basically looking to get an idea of who is interested. My time is crazy limited, and so the timing might be really weird. I'm thinking I would set the game during the events of Mass Effect 3, so basically the characters would be involved in the war against the reapers, somehow.

Is anyone interested? If so, when could you do this?

Just FYI, Friday or saturday nights are most likely for me.

I would be very much available on Friday nights when the guard doesn't keep me busy.

I could probably do occasional Saturdays. If the game is going to be going on at the time in the setting you describe, that opens up a lot of fun character concepts. It's tempting to ask if I could play a Geth but I honestly think I'd do best as a human or Turian in play. Fridays I'm already spoken for in Bai Shen's Shadowrun game.

Saturdays for me are when I meetup with my local gaming group.

I can't do scheduled gaming beyond my weekly tabletop, but I can vouch for Mindtakerr's Mass Effect running skills. If anybody's on the fence about joining, you should totally go for it.

I've got other Skype events on those nights that conflict, but were you considering recording and podcasting the gaming sessions?

I just need software to do that sort of thing. Way back when I looked, there was nothing free. Maybe that's changed now.

Check out Callgraph, free and (moderately) easy. It's what I used for Monkey Con Zero and a few other Skype recordings.
