OOC: Nope, sorry, I have already integrated Melinda into the plot line. So no not for her but keep that in mind for others in the future. /OOC

Well, it looks like we have gone for several days without a peep from anyone. I have been distracted as well. I am sorry for not providing a more dynamic environment. I will chalk this up to a learning experience.

Unless there is a sudden change in traffic the FtB SotC will fold.

I do have a plan for where things were going, we got a little derailed, and frankly the new shiny is getting to me.

As a note I think the Fate Points in the system is really its strong point, and I poorly implemented it here. For me this game would be better played in person.

Questions? Comments?

It's a PbP. That's always going to be an uphill battle.

I do. We can skip the excursion here and instead have gone to the metallurgist/blacksmith guy....

To move the plot along here is a "Rail Road Reveal". Just see it as a side panel, to allow the reader some insight.
Unbeknownst to characters. Behind the walls of the garden, just outside cottage of the grounds, is a man, retiring for the evening. His stooped countenance and slow deliberate movements tell of a man in his seventies. But the man is not so old as injured, scar tissue spreads across his face like thick purple paste, and his hands betray more injury as he clasps his cane.
The plants he cultivates are a product of years of work. The evidence of his craft, are laid about like a surgeons tools. Vials of pollens, brushes, small knives and slides, sit neatly around a microscope. It is dark as he exits his small lab.
He turns to see his guard, a pack of German Shepard's. He is the Alpha still, and the dogs expectantly look to him.
"Kah." the man gurgles and the dogs set loose upon the grounds barking and paroling the night of the walled garden.

Outside the walls a band of men stand and listen to the pack of dogs in the garden. "Perhaps night is not best time to study flowers" someone says. And the men return to the car and back to the hotel.
