Religion is making a come back and I really hope that the AI is actually improved. It's pretty derpy right now. Looking like an interesting expansion.

Does this make Civ 5 a cosworthy topic?

I'm looking forward to this, provided the new content is better integrated than the espionage stuff that got into one of the Civ 4 expansions. I remember that sub-system being so unlike the rest of the systems in the game that it totally turned me off.

I felt the same way. Both the religion and espionage thing seemed very tacked on and not well integrated into the game yet they both required a large amount of micro managing. It turned me off as well. I really like the concepts of spying and religion in the game and I hope that when they bring it they put the same level of streamlining on it as they did with the rest of the game.

I really hope they improve the AI in a meaningful way. As it stands now the AI is just a derp machine. I can easy walk all over it on Prince yet anything above that the Ai is still as derpy as ever it just cheats. The cheating isn't challenging or fun it's just groan inducing.

This is why I don't play the Puzzle Quest games anymore.

Also, they said that combat animations are coming in a patch for multiplayer.

I don't agree with you guys that the AI "cheats" in the classic sense. I do agree, however, that rival nations controlled by the AI seem to cooperate inexplicably.
