 CNN's 1st broadcastNo computers, no teleprompters, stacks of paper that the news readers read off of.
I dig the guy with sweater tied around his shoulders and aviator shades in the opening, I may or may not have rocked that very look in the '80s. After CNN and a year at cnbc, they returned to Sacramento and anchored the newscast of record here from 1990 to 2008. They were amazing, and I loved Dave's goofy stories: they were real pro's.
