You know, I'd have more faith in this sad excuse of a press release if it wasn't made through the likes of twitter.
Anyway, I really wouldn't hold my breath as fr as I can tell from the official forums they still haven't found a publisher to pick it up. They're currently working on the game on their own time/money.

Whelp, concidering their new title is a MMO, my interest in the studio has dropped dead as well.
On the upside, you just might be getting your stalker'esque game with co-op, Chad.
