Don't tell the internet! Also, an observation: I have a sneaking suspicion that your tastes in video games and mine are QUITE similar, Zircher.

Given that my avatar used to be a robot/suit of powered armor, one of us might be the evil twin of the other. -- TAZ

I'm not feeling particularly evil today and you have a beard, so for now, I THINK that makes you the evil twin. Maybe?

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 OFFICIAL THREAD
Stuff I want in ME3's story: I want to be able to have the Geth and the Quarians reconcile. Not just make peace, but truly reconcile and be able to live with each other. If I get none of my other wishes, but get this, I'll be happy. I want to know the origin of the Reapers. Who built them and when. I want to know why the Protheans were alone in the galaxy "last time." Were they simply the only race to evolve? Was it conquest? What? I want Ashley's family name cleared. I want Garrus to become a spectre. I want Jack to have a Redemption Equals Death moment. I want Anderson to wind up rewarded in a way HE likes for all the heroic sacrifice he's made. I want Admiral Hackett to have significant screen time.

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 OFFICIAL THREAD
So I'm incredibly torn on this game. I like the first one and LOVED the second one. I've got a lot of hours dedicated to this series. They were all on PC in the Steam version though. I don't want anything at all to do with Origin and absolutely hate that this won't be available on steam. My saves are all on PC and I very much want to import them into part 3.
I played the demo on PS3 and did like the gameplay. If I buy the game for PS3 instead of PC to avoid origin I then lose the chance to import my save games. If I buy it on PC then I'm stuck with origin. I also have to figure out how to get my saves from the Steam version to this non-steam version. I'm sure there is a way, but I don't know how.
So all in all I'm pretty unhappy about this turn of events and very likely won't pick up the game right away like I planned to.

I'm just going to wait for the inevitable steam release, personally. I'm looking forward to ME3, but I'm not in a huge hurry to get to it. I want to play through 1 and 2 again.

All PC versions throw the save files in your my documents folder (or whatever the equivalent of that is in win7).

Ok, than that just leaves me with the decision of whether my desire to have nothing to do with origin and my distaste of it's practices are greater than my desire to play the game or not. I don't have an answer to that yet.
