 Malaware on the forums

Post Malaware on the forums
Several of you sent in PM's reporting malware being detected on the forums. Just to clarify there was no malware being hosted on the forums but one of our users was hotlinking a picture from a site that is a known malware hoster. The forum staff have removed these links.

That site was tuckborough dot com.

We have no reason to believe that anyone's computer was compromised but it wouldn't hurt to update and your virus and malware scanners. If you don't have any scanners I suggest the following free programs though there are a number of very goods ones out there:

Yeah, SpyBot S&D is excellent. I've used it for years. It found little problems that Symantec didn't.
