 Fear the Boot Writer's Guild
Hey all - Aaron Stack and I have been thinking about doing a bit of an FtB Writer's Guild (his name; he gets the credit for that). We can do a semi-regular chat over Skype, bounce ideas off of each other, hear what everyone's working on, and generally provide support for each other as we work on our writing projects.
Anybody interested?

 Fear the Boot Writer's Guild
I'd be a reserve member. I can't always guarantee that I'll have Internet access on the road, and I do have to work in the evenings...

I'd also love to join. I've been trying to write for years and just can't stay motivated.

I would do this. It's sounds enjoyable and productive. A winning combination

Nominally so. I'm really not confident enough in my writing to feel like I deserve to join, though.

I am intrigued. I think having to report to people might help me get more motivated.

Re: Fear the Boot Writer's Guild
Awesome!
I'm not thinking this would be anything super formal. But it's nice to have a sounding board. And even if you think you suck at writing - join us anyway. Because I'm sure you don't suck as bad as some prospective authors I've known, and you can always learn to become a good writer.
My Skype username is Rinyavie - I know most of you are already in my contacts list, but if you're not, go ahead and add me.
When and how often would you guys be interested in meeting?

Re: Fear the Boot Writer's Guild
Naturally I am in for things I get credit for I'd like somewhere in the area of every other week to once a month. Once a week may be hard to maintain, and I don't want to burn out too quick. At the same time, it is important to maintain momentum. My suggestion is to start on December 2 or 3 in the afternoon or evening, so we have this week end to handle family stuff and whatever, then have a laser focus for writing fresh from Thanksgiving. I'm equally fine with starting this weekend, but I also recognize that people may like holidays to themselves. Weirdos That said, I look forward to this becoming A Thing. Thanks for the initiative, J, and everyone for showing interest and support.
