So, Grungydan, how long have you had your own comic?

I must say, this is impressive and the cards are amazing! I cannot stress enough how impressive this is, if you sell them (Even if just pdf's to print on business card paper) I will buy at least one deck (assuming they aren't infinity dollars)

I just have to say, I love this idea SandPunk.

I got a couple of ideas when looking over your card list.

Double Post - One forumite has their post count halved (or something else dealing with 2's).

Unknown Poster - Counts as a forumite for purposes of playing posts. Is discarded as soon as another forumite comes into play. All posts played on the Unknown Poster are immediately played under the new forumite regardless of ownership prior to play . . . or something suitably card sounding.

Overshadowed - Target a forumite, the next forumite played takes the place of targetted forumite (discard the previous one) and gains control of all posts played under the targetted forumite.

Banned - Remove (Discard) target forumite and all attacted posts from play (unless further cards transfer ownership of posts - not sure if any card could potentially do that though).

Zombie Smiley - Add one post for each other Zombie Smiley in play.

Flaming - All posts played on target forumite are subtracted insted of being added to that forumite's total posts. Current post count is unaffected.

Bahr Derime - Forumite - Bahr Derime can have no more than 10 posts at any one time. EDIT: I didn't realise you changed the format. Regardless of the standard bonuses, I feel, Bahr Derime should have a value of +1 post(s) . . . or have the number be based on a die roll. 1 = +0, 2-3 = +1, 4-5 = +2, 6 = +3 . . . something like that.


EDIT: Oh, and wouldn't Chad: the Travisty be the name of the future expansion?

EDIT: EDIT: Spambotland / Spambalot - . . . not sure, but sounds funny.

EDIT: EDIT: Monumental Dew - Add? number of posts. If the forumite is Noble Bear, add twice as many as would otherwise be added.

Suggestions along this line have been made before and while there are a number of larger forum and internet references made in the game, ultimately, it is designed to reflect the boards here at FtB; as such, anything that references the drama found elsewhere wouldn't be a good match for the game.

Representing a thread on the topic getting locked after a short while, but with a temporary boost that might allow a player to win this turn.
