I know Keith and Chad both said that works for them, NB, would that work for you? Yeah, I can do that. So I guess that leaves me with Roderick St. James then. What is your character’s name?Windle Uriah CashHow old is your character?32What is your character’s current occupation?Gambler, Presumed FugitiveWhere did your character grow up?On the riverboats. How was your character educated? On the riverboats. He learned counting and Math from the Bartender and reading from his mothers co-workers. Tactics and reading tells from the various players. What was your character’s family situation? His mother was one of a handful of on ship prostitutes; she got knocked up by one of the travelling "gentlemen" who couldn't be bothered to stick around for reasons of personal image and pride. She would give birth to him and he was raised and adopted by the crew and workers, who became his ad hoc family. What is your character’s current family situation?a few years before the war, his mother was smothered to death by a man who liked it rough and didn't know when to stop. He left before her body was found and his true identity and whereabouts are unknown. During the war, times got tough and everyone went their separate ways. Windle has since lost touch with those he called family. Give the storyteller some general history...I'm not certain what else to put here.

Re: Red Knave's Fortune Development Thread
Windle Cash won the services of Roderick St. James in a poker game. At first, he suspected he had been swindled, but as he spent more time with the unflappable and humorless Englishman, the more he realized Mr. St. James' usefulness. The man could unerringly predict every hand of poker dealt in a game. He could predict weather days, sometimes weeks ahead of time. And, best of all, he could see a dangerous situation long before it occurs.

Re: Red Knave's Fortune Development Thread
Three weeks ago, Cash won a saloon and brothel in a hand of poker. The trouble was, the house of ill repute was located in a village nestled high up in the Colorado Rockies. The town, called Clear Springs, had a reputation for particularly rough sort of hombre, and claiming the saloon might prove... difficult.
It was Roderick who suggested bringing Shane Whitefield and Sonny Seller, two individuals Cash knew only peripherally from his time in the military. Cash didn't even know that Roderick knew who they were, but Roderick said that they were "the best men for the task at hand..."
Cash sent word to the two men, Sonny now a notorious gunslinger, and Whitefield a wandering troubadour, to meet him in the town of Castle Rock in Colorado Territory (very near the foot of Pike's Peak) on November 4th to assist in claiming his property. There, they would agree upon a price...

For anybody not playing in this playtest, I'll post my notes in Google Docs after the game on Friday so you can see them prior to the release of the actual play.

TAB, I don't think I have your email and thus may lack you as a contact on gmail. Also, you haven't added me back on G+. I sent you an invite.
