I'm working on being a writer so I can get to the point where I quit my day job and actually write for a living. In addition to managing some words-per-day on my creative stuff, I'm also keeping a blog. The goal is to do posts every week day and publish so that people can hold me accountable. I managed five blog posts last week (six if you count my announcement post, which I don't) that were all on-topic. I continued my trend of week-day posts with another one today, though slightly off topic. Further post topics have been lined up for the rest of the week, I just need to write and post them on time.

And, no, I'm not a Mass Effect fan blog. This is just a topic I want to get out of my system 'cuz it's been churning through my head lately.

Thanks for the support, everyone! After I posted last night I took some time to fiddle with the visual look of the site a little bit. I felt that the previous theme was too narrow and too difficult to edit (I am not a programmer/web dev person at all) so I found a different theme that's more user friendly and allows for variable width. Then I nabbed a hi-res picture of paper and set it as the backdrop. I'm pretty happy with how it works but I wish I knew how to make the center part slightly transparent. Anyone know CSS and Wordpress?

Alas, not well enough to be able to help you out with that. I've had one helluva hard time getting my site looking halfway decent.

RSS does work. Well, at least for me. Shows up in my reader (NetNewsWire) just fine. What are you using?
