I think I will, but I'm working with Zirch at the moment to figure out how the town should be created and then how to kick off a scene. Gimme just a sec.

I am also thinking of retconning Liebrum into a pegasus. We are earth pony heavy.

Reply posted, but the quick answer is to give someone the story stick and let them run with it until someone (usually the rival) says "Whoa!" Setting the stage and collaboratively describing the town are great first steps.

Sand, as the stable master are you PMing players when they story stick passes to them? Might be handy. That way everyone stays on top of the game. Of course, if more than one pony is is the same scene, dialog is bound to happen. And, rivals should be reading the thread to look for challenges and obstacles that they can inflict.

This is why I wish the book had come in on time -_- (it arrived at the house yesterday). I have no clue How I'm supposed to determine when I'm supposed to do that passing. I'm gonna wing this (since Gothi and I already kinda posted and it kinda follows the listed order). I'll hand the stick on over to VV and let her get her post in.

Since Gothi set the scene, it's his scene and as his rival, I'm in charge of throwing obstacles in his way (whilst Russel/Sugar Rush is in charge of helping him out of that trouble).

So, Gothi, I'm gonna need a slightly clearer idea of what you're trying to do in this scene, something a little more specific than, "Set out on epic adventure." Perhaps you're looking to catch a carriage to the next town over?
