Re: Jagged Alliance-esque Modern Mercenary Game?
I'm confused about the safe house that I'm hearing mention of. Are Bede and Luce going to different safe houses? Is this a safe house that Luce has provided the group access to?
I didn't see any mention of making an arrangement of that sort, but I'm happy to retcon it in. I just need to know what you guys are looking for. Renting out every room in a seedy motel? Finding an abandoned warehouse?

Re: Jagged Alliance-esque Modern Mercenary Game?
Sorry, mr G. I just ran with Mills´ background story of another job. As she´s done her bit of transporting the group, I gathered she was done with the OSS bit. So, I backtracked to my background story (provided some pics of the safe house along with a map of Rio in one of the first posts) she´s been to Rio before so she´s familiar with the area. That´s why she will decline the job she went to Rio to do. The bg job. What Luce is planning is totally off-OSS plans. But should someone need a hand she´ll take the call and listen...

Sorry, Syrinx - I misspoke. It's not that I didn't realize Luce had a spot to go to - I just didn't know if it was the same place Bede was talking about and, if not, whether she was going to hers or to Bede's.
Got it now. Thanks for clarifying.

BTW, West has a handful of "essentials" on him: His siwss army knife, chewing gum and just enough in his boots for a flare or a couple of small thermites

Were we supposed to be going armed? As of now Donahue has his weapons packed away and is in tourist mode.

I figured West just likes the rush of a heavy footstep could be his last.

Tho for him its more the build and release of tension; of energy and the explorations thereof; sex and explosives are all part of the same vinn diagram. Anticipation is part of it but it goes to circumstance.
