Found the link to the new boards
Ok I made it.
Brought over my intro from the old boards -
I have been playing D&D since late '79. I only recently discovered [Oct 2007] 3.x as our group was humming along just fine with AD&D 2nd edition for many many years. I have used house rules to take care of just about all of things that were wrong in 2nd and apparently 3rd as well. WotC has made mention of some new things in 4e that closely matches our home rules so we will see if changing again would be worth the time, money, and effort. Otherwise I plan to stay with what I have as it works for me.

Hello.
I would be curious to hear what your group decides to do with 4th ed.

It isn't what we think of D&D, just not our cup of tea so to speak. We do like what Paizo is doing with Pathfinder RPG and are following those developments with interest.
