We had better make the distinction between a munchkin and a power-gamer.

I consider myself a power-gamer, but my friend who is terrible at maths relies on items to be powerful, so he's a munchkin.

Does anyone know how the name of the little people in The Wizard of Oz became associated with this particular variety of power-gamer?
