So far there are 25 people on the network for GenCon '10. Three of those are us TOFtBCHes and one is a host, making 22 others so far.

Considering there are still 7 weeks left to sign up, that's really good!

Make sure to create any events you wish to run/host and sign up for any events you wish to join! If you have any questions on how to do so, please contact either Dan or I, and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible (or at least I will! ).

I guess I should make it a little more clear as to exactly what to expect from us TOFtBCHes at GenCon this year.

Mass texts will be sent out whenever a new pick-up game or big social event is cobbled together. They'll also be sent out as reminders for the big events already planned ahead of time, like the Big Booter Dinner, with specifics on time and place firmly established. They might also be sent out if spots remain open in a "scheduled" game and more players are desired.

Individual texts might be sent out for any number of reasons, but mainly as reminders of games that an individual is scheduled for. We'll send out a group text to everyone in a game (hopefully) no later than 1/2 hour before the game will start with a location and rough start time.
NOTE: We'll do the best we can on this, but for our own sanities, we can't micromanage everything, so try to keep track of your own schedules, please. We'll likely find a central meeting spot for everyone to use for the duration of the con, in case we're ever falling behind or currently banging our heads into walls. We'll try to make it as close as possible to where most of the games will happen.

I will (hopefully, and if I can remember) be updating a Twitter feed with smaller bits of info, like what we're all up to and where we are, as well as a lot of the bigger info as well. But keep in mind, that this might not be a 100% reliable source of info, as it will completely rely on my own memory, and this is GenCon, frantic, crazy, and distracting, very distracting.

Also remember that at any time, you can call up any of the three of us and see what we're up to. I know I'll be free to hang out pretty much the entire time, unless I jump in on a game with some fellow Booters. I'll also help as best as I can on more general questions, like where some place is or whatnot, but I'm not perfect.

I'd like to add the caveat that I might be unable to get together at the drop of a hat. Although I plan on being able to at least stay in communication, I am attending some scheduled events. I might not be able to reply to you right away, depending on how socially appropriate it would be to start texting at the moment, but I will get back to you in a timely manner.

We have one! It's mine, but we have a game up!

I'll be adding my two games shortly. Can't wait to see everyone joining the network this year!

Just 3 more weeks left though, so if you plan on joining us, you better do it quick!

I also know of at least 6-8 people off the top of my head that'll be there but haven't signed up yet, so numbers right now are actually pointing closer to 50 right now!

Guess what, guys!? We just had 6 new additions to the network in the last 48 hours! We're up to 47 Booters in the network already, with 3 weeks left to sign up!

And I still know half a dozen or so more people who haven't signed up yet.
