OOC: Sorry about that post awhile ago. I thought it was morning when everyone woke up.

IC: Maglier awoke from his restless sleep for the second time, following the same method as before, prying the sheets from him, working his shirt into a temporary sheath for his sword, and finally making his way downstairs for some well-deserved breakfast.

The inn common room is quiet, a sleepy innkeep props himself up on the counter, sipping at some tea.

Suddenly, a perky young nord lass appears out of no where, wearing an apron.

"Wha' can I get ye?" she asks cheerfully.

“Ummm…”

Maglier instantly felt awkward upon seeing the waitress. “I don’t actually have any septims on me right now. Would breakfast be… complementary if you were to stay the night?”

She eyes Maglier leacherously.

"Fer you love... everything's free." she moans, pulling her shirt away from her chest a moment and winking. "What can I get you? Me personally, I'm a big fan of the sausage."

Maglier started to scratch his head.

"Listen, honey," he began as he looked up to the nord. "It's eight in the morning and neither of us are drunk. Is that really how you want to treat a guest.?"

"I'd treat ye however ye like." she winks.

Ejrak shuffled downstairs, looking half-dazed. After the wake-up from earlier, he hadn't been able to fall back asleep for more than a few minutes at a time. His warhammer was still with him, though slung on his back for the time being.

Not hearing the conversation out of exhaustion, and only recognizing Maglier, Ejrak slid into a nearby chair at the table. He opened his mouth to say something, but decided otherwise. With a yawn, he leaned forward and set his chin on the table -- not a very comfortable-looking position, but he seemed content there.

Sleep started to over-take him again until he realized he hadn't said a word to the two in front of him. ". . . 'ullo," he mumbled. "Not interrupting?"

“Hold on a minute, Ejrak,” Maglier says to the lizard before turning back to the waitress. “For now, treat me like a guest and go tell the chef I want two eggs. Scrambled, fried, I don’t care. Just please get them here without winking again.”

The waitress disappears with a "hmph!" and returns a while later with some eggs on a plate.

She smiles at you and places them in front of you. She then clears her throat and spits in the eggs.

With a smile, she walks off.

“Damn,” Maglier said, staring at the eggs. He was obviously surprised at what the waitress had done. “Remind me to tell Kilroy to stay away from that one.”

“Anyhoo, didn’t get much sleep last night, I expect,” he stated, now addressing Ejrak while he rubbed his own eyes and following it up with a long drawn-out yawn.
