 A lurker speaks!I've been a player since 1986. In the GM's chair since 1987 and remember back when I had gamer shame and nerds had no power. I know what the LBBs are and can remember having discussions about the role of swords in space.
With the exception of a few dark years a decade ago I've been a table-top gamer since 86' and I am proud to say a professional RPG Coach. Yes I do get paid to teach kids how to RP after school during the academic year and I've crafted over a dozen new gamers in the last few years. This show has been a gold mine to improving my practice for my weekly gaming group. I also rip off ideas from the show to help my kids learn how to do it for themselves. From the party template to player styles to GMing advice and how to build a good adventure. I basically steal everything I can to make me look thoughtful and super smart. I've been listening to the show for several years and have decided to join the ranks in the forum. Ken MacDonald |
