I've found some truly delicious sounding recipes for grilled shrimp and after researching sustainable shrimp I can finally eat shrimp again! I've also found some great recipes for herbed potatoes to with them.

I wish I could eat shrimp.
Moreover, I wish my daughter could eat shrimp.
Damn food allergies.

I was walking through the Disney store in the Mall, and I loved seeing all the little girls grabbing battle axes and bows. There was weaponry next to golden slippers! :D

It's around sunset. The pink/orange color in the sky right now is quite pretty.

So now that the wife has borrowed it, I can officially say I have a new car.

I'm now running around in a 2012 Toyota Prius 2 (which pretty much means the low-end of the normal range of those); I am disturbed at what a "stripped down" model comes with these days. Pleased, but disturbed. My car isn't supposed to answer my phone for me... but it can. I can't even think of eleven places to put airbags, but apparently that's what is packed in there. It's a bit intimidating, really.

From what I hear, those things handle, too. Low CoG, wide stance, I'm told they corner well for FWD.

I wouldn't mind spec creep so much if they were including the SENSIBLE things, but it's always the BS. And a Prius is always going to have lots of toys, it's a flagship model and it's going to need to have enough brains to run the hybrid wizardry; and that's going to have lots of spare cycles for extra stuff.

I kinda want a Prius V. It's got some of what I want in my next car (safety, good gas mileage, wagon) while the other stuff I want is stuff I can cope without (RWD, stripped-down spec, invisibility to cops)

Got over four inches of hair cut off today and I feel so much cooler now.
