There are pros and cons to both, and it's up to each GM to decide which they prefer. For my money the second is far better, since it actively encourages greater participation (step up or risk being left behind), whereas the first just seems to encourage greater patience.

of course there are cases where you have to wait for the slower posters while the faster posters are circling like vultures waiting for something to happen... monitoring people's online statuses and screaming "why aren't you posting?" at their screens.

Surely that could never happen...

I'm not sure what other purpose the "Who is Online" tab could have :D

*Walks in room, sees rats*
"Hey Buuuuddy~"
...
"I am turning into my father."

Although, admittedly, my father never sang the word 'buddy' to rats. To my knowledge. He did do so to me quite often though.

That is really interesting. Please keep us posted.

Of course. Something like that, I can't in good conscience leave you hanging.

I've been playing the Guild Wars 2 beta and it's really good. The combat is actually interesting and I don't get bored. Stand in one spot and you're bound to get killed, you have to constantly dodge and maneuver so there's a real challenge behind it.

I realize Mega Man X is a different game with different gameplay, but it is still inferior to the non-X Mega Man games.

I have to agree with the Squirrel on this one, X was the better series.
