I know what you mean.

That's what keeps us grounded. Just when you feel all shitty about something you come here and read a bit and realise that what you thought was a grumbly really isn't anything worth getting all stewed up about after all.

Also, if you make a 'Trivial Gripes' thread you should expect to be mocked without mercy.

I do hope that doesn't happen. The grumbly thread isn't about one-upping everyone with "oh woe is me", so don't feel bad about complaining about a minor thing. I believe we are all adult enough to accept that, even though Joe has a major problem, Jim might still be feeling down and want to vent a bit.

Actually, the entire wedding was really an excuse for Mal and I to have good food, good cake, and good mead...

Well, for the good food and good cake...yeah. We did an entire roast pig, and the bakery we used is something we don't have ready access to at the moment.

The mead, though...I've always been blessed with being able to get good mead whenever I want.

Damnit. Now I'm reminded that after I move, my brewer is going to be too far away from me for it to be worthwhile. I'll have to go back to store-bought mead.
