So I smoked my first cigar around December of last year, it had been steady at about one a month when out with friends since then.

But then a couple weeks ago I figured 'why not' and bought a pack to smoke whenever, and have been smoking about one a week.

I kinda like cigars, much to the horror of my 12 year old self and all the anti-smoking ads beaten into his brain.

Somewhere between the overcast skies and the complete lack of any routine in my sleeping since the kids left, my body has lost all sense of time of day. I keep looking at the clock and being shocked that it's only early afternoon instead of late evening. That doesn't sound so bad, but I thought it was late evening when I woke up this morning too.

I know that smoking cigarettes, when used as directed, are lethal, but how damaging is the occasional cigar? I am not in danger of taking up the habit. I am genuinely curious.
