 Re: Colorado Shooting
I'm not trying to knock it I think it was really well intended and a huge plus for the patients going through that slow recovery period but there's something that you have to keep in mind. 1 dollars to donuts he don't travel alone and hospital hallways can get jammed up pretty quickly with just a few people. 2 Ever experience a "gawker" traffic jam where the only reason things are backed up is that everyone just has to slow down and look. Now imagine that the the back up consists of the people responsible for getting you pain meds or helping you to the toilet. Trust me. For the people he was there to visit it was awesome. For the other patients he didn't visit probably not so much. Sorry if this come across a little

and that pic also shows quite a number of people in that hallway versus the hallway size.
The Werefrog think it is a nice thing, but it's even better if he ensures he stays away from emergency areas where speed really matters in treatment, and also, if he planned the trip so as not to disrupt normal rounds of the staff.

I do not believe he would visit the emergency room. I'm sure that he called ahead and they did their best to keep the halls clear. Quote: Some of the survivors also have received hospital visits from President Barack Obama and members of the Denver Broncos.
If you want to talk about a traffic jam, think about what the president caused. This is a high profile case. I'm sure that there is more than a bit of craziness that is going on anyway.

Talk about finding the tarnished edge on the silver lining on the dark cloud. Yeesh. I'm sure his handlers know better than to screw up a hospital when he visits. At least he's doing what he can.
