Everything has 1 range (Hexes may well be miles across, so this makes sense), but melee can't counter attack ranged and vice versa. With one exception, everything has a melee attack of some sort, even if it is weak, which makes ranged units useful for attacking things with impunity (unless you're fighting the rebels, where almost everything that isn't toting a bow around has ranged magic, and the one unit you won't get counter attack damage from has stealth anyways).

Battle for Wesnoth is far better than uniwar, IMO.

BfW is a good game, but I don't like it for mobile. It takes too much time and thought, so I can't whip out a turn in a couple minutes while I'm on break. Uniwar is perfect for that purpose. Uniwar was almost certainly the best $/enjoyment benefit that I have ever received from buying a video game. The only other that comes close is Stars!, which I've been playing now for over a decade.

Ascension is a very replayable deck-building game with excellent multiplayer.

i have had an iPhone for a while and i have tried tons of applications, paid and free apps. depends on your usage, if you are referring to apps that might be useful for work or school or game apps. i say that Draw Something is a great application that is really dun to play and it allows you to be artistic and it is very forgiving even if you are not a good artist.haha give it a try, i was addicted after a few tries

Also, Video Camera+ and Camera+ are much better than the built in camera app.
