Re: World Wide Wing Night 5!
Just checked my schedule and I probably won't make it unless I go late. My best friend is fighting that night.

Re: World Wide Wing Night 5!
I've always wanted to participate, but I never had any kind of local group to do it with. Now I do, so WWWN5 is on in Colorado Springs! I'll post the details here when I've got them so all Colorado Springs listeners can attend (of course anyone willing to drive from Denver or further will also be welcome).
And if I actually have a podcast episode (see my sig) aired before then, I'll mention it there too!

My friends and I are going to meet at the Wing Coop located on Redwood Rd in Salt Lake City for WWWN5 we will be meeting there at about 7pm on Nov 8th along with all the other Booters. The exact location is: 4095 S Redwood Road Salt Lake City, UT 84123 Contact info for the location is: 801-974-WING / 801-974-9464 http://www.wingcoop.comThey are open until 10pm on Saturdays. They have 14 different kinds of sauces (ranging from no heat like teriyaki or BBQ to insanely hot) which they are happy to coat either fresh, deep fried wings or chicken tenders (which they batter themselves I think). They also serve various sandwiches and wraps for those not inclined to wings (the women/wives), and they serve several beers on tap (if that is your thing). The place can hold about 30-40 people, and there are only silent TVs playing sports to compete with. If a bunch of people contact me interested in going (10+) I will talk to the manager about renting it out or just having it exclusively. All are welcome to come. If you have any questions or want to make sure you meet up with us send me a pm. I think we would be starting at about 7pm. Hope to see you there! Hyrum I'm in Elko, NV but that's a long drive for wings.

Re: World Wide Wing Night 5!
Since you are looking to make it a multi-podcast night perhaps a list of those podcasts participating (and their location) would help?

It is confirmed that Jake will most likely be attending W3N5.

Anybody in DFW want to get together for a W3N5?

Re: World Wide Wing Night 5!
There will be a Back Seat Producers event earlier in the day for anyone in town or getting in town early for Wing Night. More details will be announced as we get closer.
BSPWAP... that's a little tease for ya.

Re: World Wide Wing Night 5!
Couple of updates. Just to be different, I'll put them in a numbered list.
1. We still have a couple months to go, so I'll keep promoting it. Let's pack this place out!
2. The folks over at Backseat Producers are going to mix events with us. They want to have a movie viewing earlier in the day, followed by our Wing Night. Tony, here's your cue to start giving details.
3. So far, BSP aside, we're not getting much traction from the other podcasts. If you're a podcaster in the St. Louis area, come join us! If you're a podcaster elsewhere, get your own W3N going! If you're not a podcaster at all, shoot a line to the folks you listen to (other than us), asking them to join in! As we said on the show, W3N is supposed to be a geek holiday -- not an FtB holiday -- so we want to get everyone possible involved.
