Several people have requested we load this Tapatalk thing on the forum. I don't have one of the phones they support, nor am I 100% clear on what it is. But it's on there...so if that's you're thing...then do whatever magic it allows. If you start using it, please post below so I know it's working OK. As I said above, I have no relevant phone to test it on. Finally, here's the marketing blurb I'm supposed to post when introducing it.

 Re: tapatalk
I had a free app that refused to recognise the forum, but this prompted me to pay for tapatalk and it seems to work fine.
thanks echoed.

 Re: tapatalk
Tapatalk has a few quirks, but overall it's a far superior option for browsing on my iTouch.

 Re: tapatalk
I'd like to be able to customise it a bit more, but it's a lot easier than reading tiny text.

 Re: tapatalk
Well, I kinda think we could escape with a good mobile theme for the boards. But that introduces its own issues, notably that PHPBB allows for one theme at a time, meaning you're always switching back and forth between mobile and desktop/laptop when you mix devices.
Tapatalk is mostly good, except when you're surfing threads, and hit Next Page and it takes you to the bottom of the next page. And when it pulls read items from your Latest list. I do find myself wishing it would just support Read/Unread/New Posts identifiers like the web-based "View New Posts" function.

Alright, this is pretty damn slick. I tried a few other apps, but this is the best so far. Way nice than trying to use a web browser on my iPhone.

 Re: tapatalk
I'm using Forum Runner, and it seems to keep track of the read status of threads. I haven't used it much, though, so I could be mistaken.
BTW, sometimes the regular site hiccups on the last read location, so it may just be the board itself.

Just got Tapatalk so I could participate here more. So far so good, mostly.
Images are not loading for me. Also, replies get truncated and I can't figure out how to see the longer version.
Am I alone here? Is there a Settings area I'm missing?

Am I alone here? Is there a Settings area I'm missing? As of 2-3 weeks ago I can no longer see images either I don't know what's up with that, but I'd like to find an alternative. I played around with Forum Runner & I'm not too happy with that either
