Uh, the next meeting is the 25th. Which would make the meeting after that Sept. 8.

Re: Future Meetings and Submission list
Since I'm an Indie author, I'll try like the Dickens to be at this meeting, but I won't have any work to review. I haven't been participating enough to feel it's fair to submit work for review when I've hardly been doing any reviewing myself.

I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. Being there and providing on the fly insight is better than being a ghost. [Not that I'm one with a spotless record, life has been digging into of my Saturdays lately.] -- TAZ

Re: Future Meetings and Submission list
Currently I feel the "good faith" solution of "do what you can" is best for Writers Guild. The last thing I think I want to do is force people to review other people's work if they have nothing to say or don't have time. That's probably a good way to get people to not want to participate at all.

Re: Future Meetings and Submission list
I'd say it's not an issue. We do it in two parts for a reason right? Having something to say during the discussion means you've contributed and possibly helped one of us. As for the submitted work, while peer review is nice and helpful I think part of the benefit is an external deadline that helps those of us who can never prioritize our writing without having a due date.

We're going camping this Friday night but I expect to be back in time. I've reposted the story I'm working on, or tried to; still having fun changing the list to add recent members.

Re: Future Meetings and Submission list
Hi folks! We're midway past October now, I'm going to be hanging around the computer this Saturday in case anyone else wants to meet, even just to hang out being writers together. Sometime we'll have to consider our future schedule.

MonkeyCon kept me busy all day Saturday, but I should be good for next time. What should I be reading? -- TAZ
