episode 35. Digital vs. Physical
Hey, the topic I suggested was on this episode. Cool.
I prefer old fashioned books. I enjoy the tactile feel of a book, and prefer owning a physical item over a digital file. I was trying to learn a little about 4e, and come up with a character for a group a friend and I were putting together. It was easier for me to do this with an actual book than it would have been a pdf. The group fell apart before we really got going, but I still enjoyed reading the books.
I agree digital has advantages. Maybe, I'm just old but I feel a physical book is easier to actually read and gain complete comprehension of the material. Today I downloaded some digital files of 3.5 to go through in order to get into a play by post. I am not enjoying the reading nearly as much with the digital file.
Digital is more portable and cheaper, but give me the books.
