Re: Player's Edition Episode 30: Blame Canada
A few notes, in no particular order.
1: WoD is incredibly easy to powergame, because in spite of the literature in the book sayng that the game encourages storytelling, powergaming gives you the power to solve problems much moreso than RP ever conceivably could. WoD hugs the GM fiat crutch hard
2: Pathfinder is good stuff. Just sayin'.
3: Fuck GURPS.
4: The people who stick with 3.5 tend to fall into one of two camps, in my experience. They either A: Don't want to play another game that is so similar and deal with getting things mixed up between the two [a mistake I make on occasion] or B: I don't want to shell out another 90$+ for a game so similar to one I already own 90$+ worth of books for.
5: Fuck yeah Bubba Ho-Tep.
6: Crunchy peanut butter, straight up.

I'm in the same time-zone as Austria does that count.
And Crunchy all the way. I want to almost be spreading strait up peanuts with a knife.

I can only find creamy in Japan, and that is hard to find and very expense.

On this we agree mister bear, though the peanut butter I can find in Denmark is prolly crappy compared to what you can get over there in the Americas. On butter in general: http://satwcomic.com/too-little-butter

I still have some trouble differentiating between the two rulesets. I guess you could say that I play a cannibalized version of both games. Triggerhappy938 wrote: 5: Fuck yeah Bubba Ho-Tep. Re: Player's Edition Episode 30: Blame Canada
I've played in two games of Pathfinder over the past couple off weeks and aside from one or two tweaks I really could not tell the difference between the it and 3.5. I guess that's the point? If you like 3.5 and want new published materials go Pathfinder?
