Well, not smoking grass, but, cigarettes? Those things are evil. :p

This is a growing theme I'm seeing.
One, I wonder if this is hurting new business because there is a glut. For example, Diablo III will not be a day one buy for me.
Two, how many of you all plan to spend vacation time to burn through the growing game stack?
I did it for each of the Mass Effect releases and I can see doing it now for the stack of stuff sitting on my hard drive. -- TAZ I do some of that on every vacation I take, actually. I wish I could have taken a week to play ME3, but its release coincided with inventory at work, which is an absolutely critical time for me to be around. I've also reached a point of critical game mass where I'll try just about everything I get, but if it doesn't grab me, I will remorselessly cast it to the side and never touch it again. Because I buy stuff primarily in bundles now, the average cost for a game for me is something like 80 cents. I'm not going to slog through something I only paid 80 cents for; it's not worth it. On the other hand

 Re: The Ctrl+V Game!
Denmark Konge Harald Blåtand Gormsen (c. 935 - 986)
Denmark is the Vikings of Civ 5 in all but name. While they don't have any real bonus to their naval power, Viking Fury enables their units to swiftly jump across oceans, and they storm beaches like nobody else. Disembarking for Denmark doesn't end their units' turns, so they can mass outside an enemy's field of vision and then storm in onto the shore and ravage their whole countryside—all in one turn. And I mean ravage: Denmark's melee units Pillage tiles for free. Nobody smash-and-grabs like Denmark.
The Berserker is a lovely little scoundrel that works perfectly with Viking Fury: they can attack amphibiously without penalty, and they can move as fast as a Knight, but can still fortify and have no penalty against Cities. When the age of the Berserker comes to a close, you can promote them into Norwegian Ski Infantry, preserving all their experience and inherent Amphibious promotion. They lose their bonus Move, but N.S.I. have a move bonus of their own: they can speed through hills, tundra and snow at double speed, meaning Inca's got nothing on you. They also get a combat bonus in these tiles, so your enemies will really have to watch out.
There isn't much to Denmark, except perhaps that it's best to stick to the coastline, ransacking as you go. Pick up Commerce's Naval Tradition for extra speed as you make your way along the water. When you're ready, you can do it all over again on other continents, but be sure not to overextend yourself. Denmark's not Mongolia. Troops will need time to heal up before the next raid.
Civilization and Scenario Pack: Denmark
Suggested Policies: Honor, Commerce, Autocracy Suggested Wonders: Brandenburg Gate, Great Lighthouse, Statue of Zeus Viking Fury Embarked Units gain +1 Move Disembarkation does not incur a Movement penalty* Melee Units pay no Movement cost to Pillage Improvements† Berserker (Longswordsman, Medieval Melee) Cost 120 Requires Iron Strength 16 Move 3, not 2 No combat penalty for fighting across Rivers or from the Sea (Amphibious) Norwegian Ski Infantry (Rifleman, Renaissance Gunpowder) Cost 225 Strength 25 Move 2 +25% combat bonus in Hills, Snow or Tundra‡ Double Movement rate through Hills, Snow and Tundra‡
* This means Embarked units may move and attack after Disembarking. Extra Movement granted for being Embarked at the start of the turn is preserved once on land. † Melee units are different from Gunpowder units. For instance, this bonus applies to Berserkers, but not Norwegian Ski Infantry. ‡ This bonus does not apply to Forest or Jungle Tiles, even when Tundra or Hills are present.
