I sometimes wish that my parents would just get their own forum accounts. And then I look in the general direction of certain threads *ahem*, and realise that I actually don't want that to happen.

I'll just talk about one of the games I was in at FTC4 at this point: Everyman Jack, run by Mobius04. I'd particularly like to thank him for running a good smooth game, and giving me a truly excellent gaming moment.
My character had just arrived at the sidelines of a showdown between Everyman Jack, who had tried to kill my character's brother, and another NPC who had done the most morally repugnant thing I could think of to hundreds of people. My character was standing there with his pistol out, at close range, and I couldn't decide which one to shoot. I was yelling at the GM, "I'M CONFUSED!". We decided that my character really couldn't decide who to shoot right at that point.
I'm accustomed to more "black vs. white" choices in my gaming. This gave me a completely different choice ("black vs. black"), and it actually did confuse me for a bit. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify my own values.

SandPunk's Calvin and Hobbes game was fantastic! I am always nervous about trying new systems, but Risus is very smooth and easy to work within, and allows for quick and adaptable character creation, letting us as players make a balanced and interesting team with multiple strengths. Also Sandpunk has narrativium-enhanced bones, and a flair for the dramatic which carried the game on a surf of energy. I will never look at string or broom handles the same way again, and when I see small children with animal backpacks I have a tendency to shy away. I really hope to play with you all again. Cangames is in May...in Ottawa...
To which I reply "Fear the Con 5 is next May...in St. Louis..."
