Re: FtB: Night of Carnage| Discussion & Updates
Actually, I would be available this Sunday. The 4th has never been a big holiday in my family, and I don't see what so special about fireworks. However, i do think that anybody else will be here.
But i will be either playing online, or sleeping or both.

Maybe instead of moving to bi-weekly, we instead rotate games out. For example: starcraft one week, lol, then next, and ET after that.
Also, to the having a staple games without a long download time, I think isn't really going to happen. Since we focus on freeware games, which are the full game, it just dosen't lend itself to a quick fast download.
I also don't think Our current game line up works well if someone decides to join us at the last minute, unless they already have some of the free ware games games. Since our most common games amongst the regulars is the freeware games.

Re: FtB: Night of Carnage| Discussion & Updates
I know one of this group's selling points is that we can pick out games on the fly, but I think it would help a lot if we posted up a monthly schedule of sorts with a primary and secondary game choice listed. That way, people could plan ahead and download/choose which weeks they want to participate. It also helps with any disappointment people might have if they log on wanting to play Starcraft and find that everyone is neck deep in League of Legends already. The schedule wouldn't have to dictate exactly what the group is going to play - once everyone gathers and starts talking, they could come to a consensus to pick something else if no one is feeling the listed game - but I think it would help the last minute attendees out a lot.

Having just played Alien Swarm, I would suggest adding it to you list. Its not competitive though, its like Left 4 Dead, with aliens. Its free on steam (and it unlocks a free TF2 hat).
Also: question on Night of Carnage: How late does it normally run? Because I have Work on Mondays but I would like to get in on any League of Legends or Alien Swarm games you guys may run.

I think it will be added to the list, we played it last night with whiz, stack, bigbear, and zanian. It was very fun.
How long NoC last varies. We start at 8 pm est and go till everyone is to tired to play. Last night went until 3 am est, with me and whiz playing the last couple hours on battle for middle-earth.
*edit* No one has to stay the entire time, if you can only show up for an hour that's cool.

Hay guys I haven't been around for NoC lately. Mostly I poke in and see what you are doing then go play League of Legends, if i'm on the computer at all.
LoL has become my gaming crack. I'll get up half an hour early so I can get a match in before Work.
So I'll pop in for NoC and get you all to come Gank some noobs on LoL. I think DistinctlyBenign may be better and more experienced them me, so I'm hoping he can teach us some skillz.
I'm really liking the Idea of having some voice chat going for strategy. Though if we queue a 5 man team we will be put in a high Elo bracket against good players.

I'm sorry I haven't been here for a while. I should probably dust off the downloads page and give it a much needed update.
