Next up Zion I. ... Heard of him. I'm liking it but it won't end up on my playlist. His flow isn't very captivating but the beat is good and I really like the girl doing the hook.

Not terrible but a bit repitive till the hook and horns hit you. Nothing too special at the end. Also not going on the playlist.
There's a lot of musical terminology in here for me to learn. That made this worthwhile regardless.
Interesting stuff. I liked the Aesop one, and you're right that the Zion I song has a forgettable male lead and a really good female background. Working my way through the rest now.

Cheated. Saw a living legends song. Didn't think I knew it but I did.
Great kinda depressing song.
This in particular was very good.

I actually really liked this song, but I prefer a bit more of a dance or house sound. Which actually gives me a good idea for my next roulette start—scrapping the first idea I had.

Okay. Round three for me, and starting with something very different from the other two: "Western" by P.F.M., featuring MC Conrad.
Logical Progressions has long been one of my favorite house albums, maybe because it was the first one I ever owned. While there are a bunch of great songs, and maybe some better examples of "old-school house" on there, this song's always had its hooks in me.
Yes, it starts slowly. A lot of house does. Let it get up to speed.

Re: Music Roulette
OK, let's try this again. We'll kick off with some interesting chilled, droney stuff, somewhere between indie rock and electronica. Darkness Falls, The Void:

I'm not quite sure what to say to that, beyond it being interesting harmonically. I do like the use of a sitar as something other than a drone. Up next: Moshimoss, Slow Days It Was Super:

Re: Music Roulette
I was expecting more than a slideshow. Only one step above a static album cover, that. Anyway, quite chilled, rather unobtrusive. Not really something I'd go out of my way for, to be honest. Next on the block, we have Parachutes, with Paper Birds:

Slow start—slower than normal, anyway. A funk/soul sound at the start that's sort of interesting, but this whole song is actually kind of boring. Ah, well.
I'll be honest: After five minutes of this ten-minute song, I got bored and left. It's very smooth, but not really interesting.

Re: Music Roulette
Definitely moving towards the chillout room here, and I'm annoyed with the sudden move towards static images. This is essentially the chillout equivalent of post-rock. Let's see, up next, let's try for one with motion, shall we? This one appears to be a double bill by The Cinematic Orchestra, Arrival of the Birds and Transformation:
