This was one of two artists I didn't recognize, and the one link whose thumbnail didn't look like a static album cover. "Middle of the Bed" by Lucy Rose.
...this did not go where I thought it would, and I'm very glad of that. Short, melancholy, sweet song that's delightfully complex. Lucy Rose has an awesome voice, too! Hitting all my indie buttons right now.

"Youth" by Daughter. It had to happen sometime -- this is a static album cover 'video'. And according to the description, it's not even for this album. Or this band. It's a random album cover by some band called The Almost. Maybe they'll start another roulette spin later.
Very similar to the last song, though less energetic and a much 'simpler' sound through the first half of the song. Perhaps equally good, though... it's got the same intriguing, poignant solo female lead. Not bad. Good percussion, too.

And now we have "Featherstone" by The Paper Kites, which I chose because it had "Official" in the title and that usually means an actual official music video.
And hey, it's a Fleet Foxes knock-off band. Ugh.
The video is sort of an interesting concept, but I don't think anything except the trees match the lyrics. I agree with the top commenter, though -- "a pillow fight in the woods while dressed in fur has been added to my bucket list". It's cute and oddly endearing, though that may be incipient fatherhood talking.
Okay, the music isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. (Something about Fleet Foxes irritates me.) Not sure what to say about it other than "not bad" though.

Finally, "The King And All Of His Men" by Wolf Gang
...aaaaand that was horrible. A creepy man who thinks he's much sexier than he actually is, singing in a badly-lit minigolf cave or stalking a woman through various types of flat terrain. The song manages to be boring despite its energy, and that's a feat in and of itself. Not at all where I wanted to end up, but there you are. They can't all be winners.
And that's my five. I know where I'm starting the next one, but I don't want this to be a thread consisting of Chad, McNutcase and me, so I'm gonna hold off for a while.

Not a buff but I'll try it. First off, one of my favorite Aesop Collabs

Next up Zion I.
Heard of him. I'm liking it but it won't end up on my playlist. His flow isn't very captivating but the beat is good and I really like the girl doing the hook.

Re: Music Roulette
Trying something called Macklemore, Can't Hold us.
Never heard of it. Like the piano at the beginning. Lyrics are pretty simplistic, but his double time was allright. Get's really pop/dancy. Not terrible but a bit repitive till the hook and horns hit you. Nothing too special at the end. Also not going on the playlist.

Re: Music Roulette
Ending with Binary Star. Not sure I know them. Thought it was Mos and Talib at first but that's black star. It's got an gritty eastcoast sound, that 90's conscious rap.
