Post Re: Music Roulette
Gonna end this with a song I know I like -- 2003's "Maps" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Haven't seen the video for this either.

Not much to say about this other than the fact that the song is amazing, and that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs picked someone very good to make their video. They managed to make watching the band play their music interesting. That's a pleasant change from the past three videos.

That's a wrap for me. Enjoy the music (except the M83 song, that's just garbage.) I'm curious to see what's coming...

All right, let's have a crack at this. We'll begin with some Icelandic insanity, consisting of Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men:

Following that up, we have something that looked kind of interesting: Thrty Seconds to Mars, This Is War:

Well that was a bit shit, to be honest. Let's see if this is any better, being as it's a band I've heard of. Gorillaz, ... Melancholy Hill:

That is a pretty fun song and I dig the video.

And at this point I hit nothing but more Gorillaz or Linkin Park. So, I guess that's me out.

This song keeps popping up on my LAST.FM channel. I dig it and I'm going to have to check out more from them.

That's a fun one, Bruce Willis shot robot Noodles in the head in the last video.

The whole album is excellent and I cannot recommend them enough.

EDIT: I should actually mention the album name, shouldn't I? Passive Me, Aggressive You from 2011.

Unfortunately I actively try and be a music hipster -- I love indie rock and try and find interesting, little-known music. This means a distinct lack of YouTube videos unless someone finds "staring at an album cover" interesting.

Let's try a different tack: "Shuffle" by Bombay Bicycle Club.

...honestly, I'm not sure why I marked that song a favorite in Spotify. It's good, but it's not terribly special. Not off to a good start! Fun sort of video, though. Let's see...
