100% for song mostly because it has half English rap and Japanese lyrics done well.


Suits the mood perfectly towards the final season of the original Full Metal Alchemist.

I'm really partial to the soundtrack to Macross Frontier lately, and the opening/ending for the second half of the series were both great, I thought.

The second half's episodes began with "Lion"



...and ended with "Northern Cross."



It's a shame the series itself plods so badly halfway through, and only has one main character with an interesting development arc, or it'd be all-around fantastic. Oh well.

Also, those are the shortened credits versions. A full version of both exists, and the latter even shows up to punctuate a scene in the series. But said scene is RIFE with spoilers and didn't need to be posted.

The first ending theme, "Diamond Crevasse" was a real snoozer until it shows up sung in the actual series. The emotional punch of that scene, though, retroactively made that tune excellent as well, I think.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is one of my top four favorite anime series and I really recommend it. It's completely insane.
