No, seriously. And it's awesome!

I heard the intro music and started singing "stand my me" to it. Fitted perfectly. :problem:

It was literally 1 note away from being the same riff.

Recent events have triggered a big one...

"I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.

Most people (myself included) probably didn't even know it was a cover of a Dolly Parton song. The idea to use the song in "The Bodyguard" was Kevin Costner's.

If you listen to the original cut of the Bieber track, its the same chord progression; all these guys did was call attention to it, and , frankly, classy up the song that would have been bereft otherwise.

http://www.overthinkingit.com/series/the-baby-project/

A series of genre covers of Justin Bieber's "Baby" that highlight the song (few) strengths and (many) weaknesses and compare them to various musicle genre's strengths and weaknesses. Way more fun than it should be...

As long as we are doing covers that improve on the original because the original is terrible:

First, you only say that because you suck. ;)

Second, why are those other dudes appearing in the video? seriously the girl is the only one making this fun and watchable in any way.

Speaking of violinists... my favourite steampunk, goth violinist doing a not-quite-cover:
