I used to hate how it ran on Saturday afternoon at the same time as all of the horror double features on our local station. Land of the lost ran around that time slot too. Dad always wanted to watch Soul Train, but could sometimes be persuaded to put on one of the horror/monster/sci-fi movies as long as there was "no one good" on Soul Train, or an exceptionally good horror movie on channel 20.

Saturday morning cartoons where bookended here by the Morning Farm Report at the start and Soul Train at the end.
