 Re: Narratavius is seeking authors!
So sorry that I am so late to the party, guys. I have just been absolutely swamped today from waking up until now (past my bedtime)! Anyway, Madame Boba Fett has answered most of your questions. I should also mention that if you wanted to write a longer story, you could do like I've done and decided to split it into episodes. I've got stuff in place to continue stories with the inventory and everything that you left off with. I will PM all of you guys and basically just give you an e-mail address to correspond about it. PMs are great, but they get very unmanageable after a few messages. Also, I just remembered that I put the majority of my "author spiel" on the Narratavius Forums, here: http://narratavius.com/dotnetnuke/Forum ... fault.aspxThanks for your interest, guys, and I'll be PMing you shortly.

Saragon, I got your e-mail, and I finally have a chance to read it!
Your idea to do a wiki about writing Narratavius stories is brilliant! I never had a good way to organize the content, but now... I can let everyone help me do it!

 Re: Narratavius is seeking authors!
And the wiki is up! http://www.narratavius.com/authorwiki/I've also integrated it into the Author section of the main website. I will hopefully begin adding stuff to it soon, but if anyone (who may or may not be a colored Boba Fett) would like to start adding to it, that'd be okay!

I've taken the liberty of posting a preliminary introduction to XML on there, so that authors who don't have a technical background understand at a very basic level what the document they're generating actually is (and how not to break it, if they have to do some direct editing.) As I get more hands-on with Narratavius, I'll refine it, but it should work for now.

And I just looked at that. That's an extremely awesome intro to XML!

My intro to XML was "Here, here's the content. The content is surrounded by tags. Make sure the content is correct and the tags aren't screwed up. I don't have time to show you how the tags work." Yeah...being a temp was special sometimes.
