Incidentally, I used to drive trucks for a living many years ago, before the office job. I was licensed to drive artics but never got to drive anything that big. British rigs tend to be rather smaller.

BottledViolence wrote: I like that body style more than the new ones, but I prefer the Firebird. I was close to getting the last year of that body style cop package, but after trying 4 or 5 dealerships who couldn't or wouldn't help I bought my silver Wrangler and a faster bike. I think if you're going to go Firebird, you've got to go Trans Am. There's something about the plain Firebird hood style that I don't quite like, but I'm a big fan of clean lines like the Camaro and Corvette. Wranglers are awesome, btw. If I didn't have a Camaro, that's what I would have. My logic was that I can always buy a Wrangler later, but a Z28 should be purchased when you're young and single, otherwise it's a midlife crisis car.

What you call a Station Wagon, we usually call an Estate (short for Estate Car). But they used to be known as Shooting Brakes, which is a lovely old term. GM called many of their Station Wagons Estates.
