Post Re: Sara won a Bear
I find I am a weird mix when it comes to watching anime. Some shows I cant stand the american dubs for like Bleach and Naruto, however FMA I first saw in english and loved it from the getgo.

Anime I have enjoy'd
OHHC
Card Captor Sukura
Witch Hunter Robin
Chobits
DearS
Bleach
Coboy Bebop
Naruto (stopped watching around shipp started to air in us)
Inuyasha
Beck
Skip Beat
Trigun
Lupin the Third
Fruit Baskets
Hana Kimi (read the manga first)
Hana Yori Dango (manga first then anime then live action, then koren live action -.-)
and i am not ashamed to say it.... Pokemon

I know i have watched a ton more but not of it comes to mine.

BTW Netflix does have some anime with only subs no dubs on streaming you have to check the language options to be sure there are not alot of them, but then again almost all the dvd's they send out are mostly sub's and only a few dubs so if your looking to make sure of subs i would do the mail route.

Nobody should be ashamed to admit to Pokemon. It was fun. I haven't kept track of it in recent years because I burned myself out on the entire franchise, but it was a fun show.

Fruits Basket, too. Despite the fact that I swear I can feel my teeth rotting every time I even glance at it.

Pokemon's a fun series, though if you stopped following it, you're really not missing much; they recycle plots a lot and never really advance things (Ash is still the protagonist, is a rookie every time he goes somewhere new, and is still ten years old... somehow). They know they pretty much have a completely new audience every couple years or so (as tends to be the case for shows aimed at kids), so they take advantage of it.

Also? Ash's companions this time around suck.

I was always more of a Digimon fan. Tamers was my favorite. Digimon + writer from Serial Experiment Lain = pure mindfuck-filled awesome.

Fruits Basket could make me slip into a diabetic coma. And just like tiramisu, and double-chocolate tortes, I. Don't. Care.

rofl Fruit Basket isnt everyone's cupa

I find I like seeing all the new pokemon, and how they are going to 'reset' pikachu so he isnt all powerfull, the story line is highly repetitive but they are going a new rout with team rocket in some episodes

Maybe, but I dislike Iris and Cylan too much to care. And I'm really tired of Ash.

So Ash = Doctor Who?

It would certainly help things if Ash were to regenerate into a substantially different person. (My vote.)

On Netflix we watched and I greatly enjoyed Highschool of the Dead. There is a chunk of pure cheesecake in the middle that does take away from the rest of the series quite a bit, but other than that it was very good.
