And those other characters are cool too. Hell, in our last L5R game, Maniah and I based our characters' relatioship off of Hunny and Mori.

 Re: Sara won a Bear
yeah i generally fall into to the stereotypical man who likes bloody anime category but those two and Lupin III always were a guilty pleasure of mine. Currently exhausting netflix's supply of action oriented animes by finishing HTOD and Pumpkin scissors.

O_o
Lupin the Third is crime drama. Slightly less bloody, but still fits nicely in with 'Anime for MEN'.
Also, I'm something of an anime snob. I won't watch dubbed. Does netflix have subbed? I've never really checked their anime section...

 Re: Sara won a Bear
nope they really only have dubbed, i am a little slow of a reader and am concerned by focusing on subs i will miss some action.
also i recognize the lack of blood in lupin, it's just hilarious IMHO so hence guilty pleasure.

Congratulations to Sara on the bear.
I echo the Woot!
That was the last thing in this thread I understood.
Oblivious-to-anime guy... out!

 Re: Sara won a Bear
If I watched the dubs, I'd have to watch at normal speed (instead of my usual 150% that I usually watch/listen to everything in). Sometimes it's necessary to watch subs, of course, and sometimes the dub is so terribad that it's worth the shift, but still.
And I'm more amused by the ambivalent expression on the gal who won a body pillow.
