 John Carpenter's THE THINGI just saw this on the big screen (for the first time). What an amazing flick. I'm pretty sure it's flawless. Have you seen it? What do you think?

Re: John Carpenter's THE THING The first time I got to see The Thing was when Universal Pictures that released it was celebrating an anniversary so they had their top 50 or so movies in theaters for the summer. The theater had the AC turned up so high that you actually felt chilly during the movie. It was such a great introduction to one of my favorite horror movies of all time.

Namely, that the Thing doesn't duplicate piercings or fillings, and the fact that Childs has a piercing means he's human. _________________ I'm excited about Torchbearer! |
